What Chancey is
Chancey is a prediction-market research app for iOS. It is not a bank, brokerage, exchange, custodial wallet, or registered investment adviser, and it does not hold customer funds.
Not investment advice
Nothing in the app — including alerts, labels, or summaries — is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any contract, or a guarantee of future results. You remain solely responsible for your decisions.
Event contracts involve risk
Event contracts and related prediction-market products involve substantial risk of loss, including the possible loss of capital you allocate to those markets. Only risk money you can afford to lose.
Past performance and any illustrative or simulated results shown in the app do not predict future performance. Hypothetical or practice results have inherent limitations and may not reflect live liquidity, fees, or fills.
Optional exchange connection
If you use features that place orders, those orders are executed at your exchange account under your exchange agreements. Chancey does not replace that venue’s statements, risk controls, or customer support. Always verify fills, positions, and balances with the exchange before relying on any app display.
Chancey may connect to Kalshi (CFTC-regulated event contracts / designated contract market). Review Kalshi’s own risk disclosures and applicable CFTC / exchange rules before trading.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for:

- Reviewing orders, positions, and account balances with your exchange
- Understanding the products you trade and the rules that apply in your jurisdiction

Like any software, Chancey may be affected by bugs, connectivity issues, delayed or incomplete market data, or settings errors. These can lead to missed alerts, outdated information, or displays that differ from what you expected. Always verify critical information independently before acting.
